NGO’s Conscious Citizens Forum (CCF) and Outlook for Social change (OSC) have announced a joint movement – ‘Anti Toll Citizens’ Form’ (ATCF) to expedite abolition of toll collection within 200kms.

Navi Mumbai: The National Green Tribunal (NGT), New Delhi, has ordered a joint inquiry by Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board (MPCB), district magistrate of Navi Mumbai and the principal conservator of Forests, Maharashtra about the Parsik hill-cutting and tree hacking.

While acquiring the land of the farmers in the Reliance Gas Pipeline project from Palghar and Thane districts, according to the Land Acquisition Act, it is mandatory to compensate the farmers on the basis of the highest value of market share while the concerned system has arbitrarily compensated the farmers.
